curated by Megan Monte in Looking at Me Through You. The work is a direct response to the lack of space and loss of market gardens in a rapidly developing suburb. A strip of land 1m x 10m is cut into the lawn outside of Campbelltown Arts Centre. Using seed stock propagated from lettuce, tomatoes and vegetables from Woolworths, audiences could plant or take anything from this garden. Anything not harvested or taken is eventually dug back into the soil as green manure. This strip of otherwise nutritionally unproductive public land disrupts an otherwise perfectly manicured lawn
